Reconciliation Northern Territory works closely with organisations with reconciliation action plans . We believe learning through education, cultural knowledge sharing and meaningful conversations, we can empower individuals, organisations and communities to deepen their understanding of Australia's shared history, cultures and future.
We assist organisations at every stage of their reconciliation journey, from referrals for support in developing a new RAP to strengthening and implementing existing commitments. Our support includes strategic advice, stakeholder engagement, governance guidance and practical implementation planning.

Reconciliation Northern Territory's new logo, designed by respected Larrakia artist Uncle Jason Lee, whose artwork was selected as the winner of the organisation's logo design competition.
Jason is a self-taught artist living on saltwater country. He started learning his Gulumerrdjin (Larrakia) culture from a young age, which was further cultivated during his teenage years and through learning Larrakia language. Jason has recently created a new work called Gunamidirra, meaning saltwater, which you can see in the mall, bringing a pop of blue colour to the planter boxes and benches throughout.
Mr Lee said the design tells the story of reconciliation through symbols of unity, connection and shared purpose.
"This logo represents the journey of reconciliation, unity, and shared understanding across the Northern Territory," he said.

"At its centre is a circular meeting place symbol, a common element in Aboriginal art that signifies connection, dialogue, and the coming together of diverse peoples and communities."
The artwork's four distinct sections reflect the diversity of the Northern Territory's landscapes, histories and cultures, while its earthy ochre, red, gold, white and brown tones draw inspiration from both the natural environment and Aboriginal cultural traditions.
Surrounding the central meeting place are human figures of different colours, representing people from all backgrounds standing together in respect, inclusion and partnership.
"The footprints encircling the artwork represent the many journeys that have brought people together and the collective path forward towards reconciliation," Mr Lee said.
"The intersecting pathways connecting the centre highlight collaboration, understanding, and the importance of building strong relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community."
Mr Lee said the design ultimately symbolises "unity, respect, cultural strength, and a shared commitment to walking together towards a more reconciled future for the Northern Territory".

Reconciliation Northern Territory (RNT) was established in 2026 to support and advance reconciliation across the Northern Territory. Founded by NT Aboriginal community leaders, RNT works to strengthen relationships, support Reconciliation Action Plans, promote truth-telling, and amplify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices in decision-making. Through partnerships, advocacy and community engagement, RNT aims to help organisations and communities turn reconciliation commitments into practical, measurable outcomes.

We support the planning and delivery of reconciliation-focused events, including National Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week, cultural celebrations, community gatherings and educational activities.

Our team provides advice on reconciliation, inclusion, community engagement and culturally informed approaches to policy, programs and workplace initiatives.
We advocate for meaningful reconciliation outcomes across the Northern Territory and work to elevate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices in decision-making, community development and organisational leadership.

We bring together organisations, community leaders and reconciliation champions to share knowledge, celebrate success and collaborate on initiatives that create lasting impact.
At Reconciliation Northern Territory, we believe reconciliation is achieved through action, accountability and strong relationships. We are committed to helping individuals, organisations and communities turn good intentions into meaningful outcomes.
